Lint buildup in your dryer vent is a leading cause of house fires — and it makes your dryer work harder. We clear the full vent line so your clothes dry faster and your home stays safe.

Every load of laundry sheds lint, and a lot of it slips past the lint trap into the vent line behind your dryer. Over time that buildup restricts airflow, traps heat and becomes a serious fire risk. A professional cleaning clears the whole line so your dryer runs safely and efficiently.
What’s included
- Full vent line cleared — dryer to exterior

- Exterior vent cap cleared
- Airflow checked before we leave
- Insured & bonded technicians
Why it matters
Clogged dryer vents are one of the most common — and most preventable — causes of house fires. Beyond safety, a clean vent means faster drying, lower energy use, and a longer life for your dryer. If your clothes take more than one cycle to dry, or the laundry room feels hot, your vent is overdue.
How we do it
We disconnect the dryer, run specialized brushes and a vacuum through the full vent line, clear the exterior cap, then reconnect and test the airflow. All the lint comes out — it doesn’t end up back in your laundry room.
Signs your dryer vent needs cleaning
Lint buildup in your dryer vent is a leading cause of house fires, and it’s almost entirely preventable. Watch for clothes that take more than one cycle to dry, a dryer or laundry room that feels unusually hot, a burning smell when the dryer runs, or a lint trap that fills up fast. If you can’t remember the last time the vent was cleaned, it’s likely overdue.
For most homes, once a year is the rule of thumb — more often for big households or long vent runs. Beyond safety, a clear vent means shorter drying times and lower energy use. Read more on dryer vent fire safety.
Why vent length and layout matter
A short, straight dryer run usually moves air more easily than a line with several elbows or a long route to the roof or an exterior wall. Each bend gives lint another place to settle, which is why some Edmonton homes need service more often than the usual annual interval. We clean the complete accessible run and check airflow at the exterior termination. If the line is crushed, disconnected or poorly routed, we will point that out; cleaning cannot correct damaged ducting. The exterior hood also needs to open freely and stay clear of snow, nests and landscaping so moist air can leave the building.
